About us

St. Vincent’s is part of the Antiochian Orthodox Church, and is in the same family of churches as the Romanian, Serbian and Greek Orthodox Churches, among others. Our Patriarch, John, is based out of Damascus in Syria. Historically the Antiochian Church in North America was founded by Arabic-speaking Christians from the Middle East. Over the years, more and more people of other backgrounds joined, either as converts, or as new arrivals who are already part of the Orthodox Church. Our members include first nations peoples and other Canadians, Serbians, Ethiopians, Eritreans, Russians, Ukrainians, Lebanese and Syrians and more. All our services are in English, with occasional elements in other languages. Everyone is welcome!

If you are interested in learning about the Orthodox Christian faith, please come to our services. That is the best way to find out who we are. You can also contact Fr. Herman here.
